Dinner and a movie takes on a whole new literal meaning on Fraser Street. Just down the street from one of Andrea’s favourite beauty salons is Fraserview Meats & Video. You heard me. Fresh marinated chicken, lamb, goat and beef on one side of the store, and the hottest releases in Bollywood videos on the other side. It’s bizarre. I can’t tell you what the videos are like, but I can attest to the wonderful flavour, freshness and great value of the meat. For about $30 you buy a month’s supply of fresh chicken marinated with tikka, butter, lemon or curry. And they have great prices on New Zealand lamb.
