Good Eats

It’s over, but that doesn’t mean we can’t talk about it – holiday eating that is. Just before New Year’s we had the opportunity to meet our clients from Singapore for the first time over dinner at Kerrisdale latest restuarant, Senova. We don’t normally experiment with new restaurants when entertaining clients from out of town, but we figured it was a worthy gamble considering the owner Manuel Ferreira’s track record at Le Gavroche and the convenient location for both parties. We weren’t disappointed. Highlights of the Portugese and Spanish influence menu included the Sardines with Corn Bread, Roasted Peppers and Tapenade and the outstanding Duck Breast and Confit with Orange Sauce. The Meringue “Monoflan” made for an excellent and light finish to the meal, and a respite from the heavy desserts of the previous week’s feasting. You can check out the menu on Senova’s website.
Senova is located 1864 W 57th Avenue in Vancouver, BC; (604) 266-8643
