Chocolate chocolate snowflakes

I’m really picky when it comes to chocolate-containing recipes, so I was pleasantly surprised with this recipe for chocolate cookies. The recipe is actually for a chocolate sandwich cookie with peppermint filling, but I was only interested in the cookie part of the recipe.
They’re not too sweet, and have a really dark chocolatey flavour. I used a grocery store brand of cocoa powder and they turned out really well, but if I were to make these again I’d splurge on fancy cocoa powder. Mostly, I wanted to make a cookie that I could put fancy pants on. These have chocolate piping, silver dragees and non-pareils, but you could also use royal icing, pretty sugar or crushed peppermint candies.
