Dine Out Vancouver

It’s that time of the year, again. The time of year when I forget to make reservations for Dine Out Vancouver, and then spend two weeks grumbling about it under my breath. I checked out the site this morning, and only one of the restaurants is marked as sold out as of now (West), but I suspect that there may already be slim pickings.
If I can, I might try to get reservations at three places: Aurora Bistro, The Cannery, and Figmint. All are places that I have never been to (shamefully, in the case of the Cannery), and this may be the kick in the proverbial pants that gets me out for this now-famous Vancouver dining event.
If anyone else out there has recommendations from the restaurant list, we’d love to hear them.
