Happy Halloween

Blood? Wine? Thought this image of a grape press would be appropriate for Halloween. I took it on my recent trip to Hornby Island at Carbrea Winery. This is actually a perforated stainless steel cylinder with some kind of rubber bladder running up the middle. The grapes go in and the bladder fills with water and squeezes the juice out of the holes. Clever.
