Sinigang Soup

Ingredients:
2 big tomatoes (sliced);
1 big onion (sliced)
1/2 cup lemon juice (OK to use bottled concentrate)
1 slab pork spare ribs (cut along the bones) OR a fish (cut up in chunks)
fish sauce (patis);
ground black pepper
romaine lettuce;
green beans(optional)
Method:
Boil about 8 cups of water.
Add onions and tomatoes.
When boiled again, add sliced pork ribs or cut-up fish.
Add fish sauce.
Add pepper.
Then cover and boil in high heat until meat is tender (45 minutes for pork, less for fish)
When meat is tender, add lemon juice.
Add beans.
After 5 minutes, add romaine lettuce. Do not overcook the lettuce ( 1-2 minutes is enough)
