Cassava Fries

Boil the cassava whole in water and drain the water.
Cut the pieces of cassava and fry.
Make a salt and red chilly powder to sprinkle on the fries.

Thanks for posting. I love cassava fries from back home (in Suriname). This is the same method that my mom recommended to me (except for the red chilly which I think is a nice twist). One thing to note is that cassava found in stores in the U.S. are sometimes referred to by the name yucca.
